[New UI] How to display Cross Sells and Upsells on Checkout Page?

Yes, our app supports Checkout Page Cross Sells and Upsells!*

*This feature is available on the Small Store Plan or higher with a Shopify plus plan.

Tip: Before the Cross Sells are displayed on the checkout page, make sure that Extensibility Checkout has been upgraded in your shopify settings. See article HERE.

After that, there are two steps to complete: one in your Shopify Store and the other in our Cross Sell & Upsell app. Be sure to start by setting up the Cross Sell & Upsell app first and then proceed with the steps in Shopify.

Step 1: Activate this feature in Cross Sell & Upsell

1. From the dashboard click on "Assign" tab and scroll down to the Checkout Page section and enable the options for Cross Sells and Upsells and click on "Assign" button to assign cross sells.

   
   

2. There are 2 ways in which you can choose which cross sells to display:

   
   

a) Use Global Checkout Products.

b) Use Cross Sells of last Item added to cart.

A) Use Global Checkout Products

When you select this option, you will click on the "Assign Global Checkout" button to assign the products that you prefer. Cross Sells selected here will be displayed on the checkout page every time regardless of the products added to cart.

B) Use Cross Sells of last Item added to cart

When you select this option, under the "Handpicked Cross Sells" section you will click on the "Assign Product" button and assign the products that you prefer. Cross Sells selected here will be displayed on the checkout page but will depend on the Cross Sells assigned to the last item that was added to cart.

Note: If the last item added to cart has no cross sells assigned to it then no cross sells will be displayed on the Checkout page.

Step 2: Add App Block in your Shopify store

1. From your themes section, click on the "Customize" button for your live theme.

2. After that select "Checkout and new customer accounts" from the dropdown menu at the top.

3. After that you will be redirected to the checkout template editor where you will click on the "Add app block" under the order summary section.

4. Select the cross sell widget from the pop-up.

5. You will be redirected to the Checkout page and this is how the cross sells will look like on the Checkout page:
